The terroirs are dynamic spaces. They evolve according to the society’s pulsations. Human communities create, exploit, manage and adapt the vineyards to their needs under the influences of cultural, social, legal, economic and environmental pressures. Our project called “VitiTerroir” propose to analyze specifically the dynamic of wine territories in Centre region. In order to respond to the ecological, economical and legal challenges that the viticulture will be confronted to in the next decades, we propose to develop an original tool of simulation based on agents. We aim to simulate the complex evolving of wine territories with a spatial and temporal multiscale approach. Due to a multidisciplinary partnership (geography, history, biology, agronomy, law and economy) we first propose to identify the main transforming processes of vineyard’s territories and secondly to model these processes in a multi-agent platform. In a more operational and prospective approach, this work eventually offers to highlight a historical comprehension of vineyard's dynamics and simulate the plausible evolutions of wine territories in Centre region.
