Proposing to approach social memory from a sociodynamic perspective of memory
Supported by theories of social memories and researchers as Maurice Halbwachs, Joël Candau, Henri Bergson, Ecléa Bosi, Gerard Namer, Jacques Le Goff, Leroi-Gouhran among others, this research focuses on the narratives of memories from school time during Estado Novo in Portugal. Therefore, this research addresses these questions: is it possible to rescue the memory of school during Estado Novo in Portugal, from narratives? How narratives reflect the social imaginary in the individual and collective memories? How relevant as heritage remembrance and forgetfulness are for studies in History of Education?
Apoiado por teorias de memórias sociais e pesquisadores como Maurice Halbwachs, Joël Candau, Henri Bergson, Ecléa Bosi, Gerard Namer, Jacques Le Goff, Leroi-Gouhran, entre outros, esta pesquisa centra-se nas narrativas de memórias do horário escolar no Estado Novo em Portugal. Portanto, esta pesquisa aborda essas questões: é possível resgatar a memória da escola durante o Estado Novo em Portugal, a partir de narrativas? Como as narrativas refletem o imaginário social nas memórias individuais e coletivas? Quão relevante é a lembrança e o esquecimento do património para estudos em História da Educação?
